THC Disclaimer:

CBD Legality, State-by-State
What you may not be aware of is some of the grey-zone regarding CBD legality within your own state. While it is true that the Farm Bill of 2018 made CBD legal at the Federal level, individual states still have their own laws.
Each year more and more states are adjusting their laws and as of the time this information is being shared (April 1, 2022) only two states are not 100% legal!! That said, the way those two states have written their laws means that our current batch of products (please see the current COA) are legal in ALL 50 USA states!
The two states that have some specific requirements are:
Idaho: Products must contain less than 0.1% THC (please see our current COA - no THC was detected is the CBD isolate that we use)
Kansas: Products must contain ZERO THC (please see our current COA - no THC was detected is the CBD isolate that we use)
Why do we make a point of telling you this? Simple. The legal landscape is CONSTANTLY changing and honestly we can’t promise to be 100% certain of the laws in your state (unless you happen to be in our state: Colorado). As such it will always be YOUR responsibility to know what is and is not allowed. Consult your state’s Criminal Code or Agriculture Department for the most up-to-date information on regulation of CBD in your state.
Our CBD isolate comes from a company that sources directly from the Hemp side of the Cannabis family. If you look at the bottle/jar you just purchased you will notice a little box on the label with a number in it. That number corresponds with a Certificate of Analysis regarding the CBD used to make your jar. Scroll down past the states list and you will see all the COAs (Certificate of Analysis) that we have.
If you can send us legal proof that the laws have changed in your state then we will happily update our claims!

Anything else worth noting
Congrats! Hopefully, in getting to the end of this page, you learned something interesting. If not, well maybe these last comments will be of value to you…
While we have done everything in our power to be certain that the level of CBD in your product matches the exact number on the label, we have to admit that it might not. WAIT, don’t panic. If it does not match, it would not match by a VERY small number. So small that only a special lab (like the one that provides our COAs) to detect. Why would we tell you this? There are two reasons. The first is a simple case of CYA. Just about everyone has heard the various stories out there regarding companies being sued for "this, that and the other" and we don't want to deal with that. But the other reason, and the much more important one, is that we want you to trust us, and honesty goes a long way to building trust.
So here is the actual "why" your jars CBD content might not exactly match. When it comes to making any sort of product there are always variables that are harder to control than others. In our case the big one is the evaporation rate of the Distilled Water during both the heating and cooling phases of making the lotion. Evaporation is affected by too many things to list, but the end result is that while you may not detect any difference in your lotion, each batch may vary slightly in thickness. This wobble in texture can cause your jar to have + or - a gram or so of lotion in it. It can also cause traces amounts of lotion to remain behind in the bottling stage. As such, A Touch of Healing Lotions LLC considers it fair and reasonable for any given product to potentially have +/-25% of the expected CBD, in a given unit. Again, this allow us to reiterate that a wobble of that size is so far beyond likely, it is mainly listed to keep our legal hind ends safe!
